BNB peels banked, free runner rides into CPI week

Posted — before the outcome was known.

Working levels at the time of posting

BTC ~79,800 holding base 78,600-79,700; Sunday drift off 80,208 top, 24h low 79,563 above prior higher-low 79,458.5. Re-rate line 81,400 unmet — no chase. BNB 756.85 after third rejection at 780.5 shelf (high 780.495); written peels 740/760 banked Friday-Saturday; remaining greens week of Sep 14. Invalidation shelf 72,000-73,000 untouched.

Catalyst this entry was waiting on

CPI 2026-09-11; CLARITY cloture + FOMC 2026-09-15/16

Both written BNB peels are banked: the 740 level filled at market early Saturday and the 760 level filled later in the session, closing out the position the desk had been working since August. What remains is a free runner, and after the 780.5 shelf rejected a third touch — intraday high 780.495 — the desk is not peeling it on weekend tape. Bitcoin has drifted down from the 80,208 top to ~79,800, holding above the prior higher-low at 79,458.5; the 78,600-79,700 base that survived Friday’s NFP shock has not broken, and no adds or sales happened under it. Nothing is being chased above the 81,400 re-rate line, which remains unmet.

Why: weekend liquidity is thin, the funds’ next daily reading does not arrive until the new week, and the catalysts that matter sit inside the next ten days — CPI in five, the CLARITY cloture and FOMC in nine. The desk’s written plan is to take greens in the week of 14 September into that window, not on a Sunday drift. Cash stays reserved for a rotation or capitulation setup; nothing on this tape meets either, and the only red position is noise inside range.

What actually happened

Both written peels banked as described and the runner was left free into the event window. The greens the entry scheduled for the week of September 14 were never offered: BNB lost the 740 support inside four sessions and trades near 725.
